2000 Grand Prize from the Montréal Commerce Design Contest

In 2000, the Saint-Laurent complex received a grand prize from the Montréal Commerce Design contest. Its resolutely modern architecture and interior décor set it apart from more traditional funeral homes. The space is open and full of light. A bridge, which in mythology symbolizes the passage from life to death, the crossing of the river, supports a hanging garden.
