Mark was a cherished brother to Elisabeth, loving friend to her husband, Larry Cherbaka and a cherished and devoted uncle to their children Lauren, Vanessa and Amanda. He was a devoted and common-law spouse to Lydia Pozar, brother-in-law to lrena Pozar. Adored nephew of Grace and Adam Bielecki, and a dear cousin to Natalia (Eugene Hladky) and Laura Bielecki (Scott Gagnon). Mark is also survived by numerous friends and family.

Mark's warmth, gentleness and kindness were the foundation of his character, deeply felt by all who knew him. His generous spirit extended beyond his family, touching the lives of his friends and colleagues. He was known for never saying no when someone needed help, a quality that shone brightly even when he was tired or had little time to spare. In life we loved you dearly.
You did not go alone,
for part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You have left us many memories,
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you,
you are always by our side.
