Mme Ewhenia Ruseckyj née Danilova

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing  of our mother, Ewhenia Danilova Ruseckyj, at the Lakeshore General Hospital, Pointe-Claire, on April 1, 2019, at the age of 94. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Wasyl, daughter Valentina and son-in-law, Fernando. She is mourned and greatly missed by her son Tom (Helen) and daughter Irene (Francis).  Cherished « Babsa » of grandsons Bill and Greg (Lucy) and great grandchildren Scarlett and John. She had an endless love for family and friends and never let anyone leave her home hungry. She enjoyed and looked forward to playing cards with family and friends.

Visitation will be at Alfred Dallaire Memoria, 3254 Bellechasse, on Sunday, April 7, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Panachyda at 7 p.m., followed by visitation until 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 8, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Sophie Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 6255 Blvd. Saint Michel, followed by Burial at the Mount Royal Cemetery, Oakridge 94-S. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Sophie Church.
