Mme DOMENICA RACHLITCHI

On April 15, 2022 in Montreal, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's our loving mother Donya Slobodian (born Rachlitchi) passed away cradled by her 3 children Michael, Luba and Roma. Wife of the late Peter Slobodian, she leaves to mourn her children, Michael (spouse Gioconda), Luba (spouse Lorenzo), Roma (spouse Taras) and her 3 grandchildren, Santino, Elena and Ruta. Donya was a fierce Ukrainian patriot and promoter of Ukrainian traditions. Our Mama was most especially known by many as Ogilvy's Ukrainian Easter Egg (Pysanky) lady where for 40 years she shared this love and passion.

Mama was always our closest confidant, voice of reason, guiding light, greatest influencer and best cheerleader. We are comforted by the thought that she is now resting peacefully and will remain in our thoughts forever. Vichnaya Pamyat.
