It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth McHenry Berry, microbiologist and biochemist. Elizabeth, wife of the late Herbert Barter Berry, was born in Plainview, Nebraska and passed away at the CSHLD St-Margaret in Westmount at the age of 95.
She is survived by her children, Margaret Berry (Richard Lougheed), Thomas Berry (Louise Pearce), Catherine Fenn (Robin Fenn), and Judith Berry.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Frances Stephen and Margaret Anderson.
She is survived by twelve grandchildren: Christopher Lougheed, Joshua Lougheed, Sarah Lougheed, Elizabeth Lougheed, Matthew Berry, Lucas Berry, Danny Delong, Samuel Fenn, Jonathan Fenn, Anna Fenn, Joseph Duchastel, and Nelson Duchastel.
She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren: Taylor Delong, Alex Delong, Miriam Lougheed, Jacob Lougheed, Asher Fenn, Rowan Fenn, and Elliot Fenn.
Memorial to be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 6897 Somerled Ave, Montreal, on Saturday, May 7th at 3:00.
Reception to follow at Alfred Dellaire Memoria, 1111 Av. Laurier O, Outremont QC.
