Mme Ilda Amato Galluccio

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Ilda Amato Galluccio at the age of 100, beloved wife of predeceased Osvaldo Galluccio.

Born in San Clemente di Galluccio, Caserta (Italy), Ilda was one of 12 children being the 11th child. In 1958 she and her husband Osvaldo and 3 children left their home in Italy and came to Canada to provide for their family. Here she had 2 other children and built a life all together

She will be sadly missed by her loving children, Domenico (Rita), Antonio, Giuseppina (Vincenzo), Pietro (Silvana), Giulia (Antonio). Her cherished 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, her sister-in-law Michelina and all of her nieces and nephews.

Ilda was filled with happiness and pride while tending to her homemade baking and meals. She would always be available for her precious grandchildren.

Our heartfelt thanks to her most incredible caregivers at the dialysis clinic and at the CHUM hospital.

Visitations will be held at Les Espaces Memoria Funeral Complex, 1120 Jean Talon Street on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m

A ceremony will be held on Wednesday October 11th 2023 at 10 am at Chiesa Madonna Della Difesa Church thence to the Cemetery Le repos Saint-Francois D'Assise
