It is with great sadness that the family would like to announce the passing of José Clemente Rodrigues Fernandes, in Montreal, at the age of 82 years, born in Bouro, Santa Marta, Portugal.
He leaves to mourn his children José (Katia), Francisco (Helena), Leonida and Emilia (Daniel), his grandchildren Julianna, Andrea, Micaela, Stephen, Samuel and Lucas, his brother Joao Batista, his sister Teresa, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, as well as many other family members and friends.
The family will receive condolences at the Alfred Dallaire MEMORIA Funeral Home (1120, Jean-Talon Street East, Montreal, Qc) on Monday, September 17 from 2 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 10 pm, and starting 8:30 am the following day. Funeral to be held at the Santa-Cruz Church (60, Rachel Ouest, Montreal, Qc) on Tuesday, September 18 at 10 am. Burial to follow at the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery (4601, Côte-des-Neiges Road, Montreal).
Donations to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
