ANASTASIA KUSHNIR

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Anastasia Onyszchuk, nee Kushnir on Monday, December 21, 2020, loving wife of Mario Onyszchuk for 61 years, Mother to the late Ivan, and sons Tim (Silvia) and Greg (Barbara); Grandmother to Ethan and Zachary.

Known more familiarly by the name of Nancy she will be missed by her brothers, cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends here in Canada, the Unites States, France, Poland and the Ukraine.

Nancy loved travel, family, family get-togethers, books and time spent at the cottage in Glen Sutton, gardening, picking berries and watching the birds.  She was active with the McGill Book Fair for many years, was a member of the Jane Austen Society, co-authored a book in 1997: Rediscovering McGill’s Heritage and was a member of the Ste-Sophie’s church, serving on its executive committee.
