M. Miron Macyshyn

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Miron on Wednesnay, October 31 in Montreal at the age of 79. He was the son of the late Paranka Loik and Stefan Macyshyn. Beloved husband for 50 years of Anne Hetz. Dear brother of Alice Klymchuk (Paul), Adona Kolisnyk (Zen) and brother-in-law of Peter Hetz (Mary Cecol). He will be fondly remembered by his niece Rebecca, nephews Ken, Ron and Sam, as well as many friends and relatives. 

He was a longtime member and past President of the Royal Montreal curling club. His trip to Scotland to participate in the Strathona Cup, was his trip of a lifetime. 

The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at Father Dowd Residence who provided excellent care and support. Also, a special thank you to relatives and friends who visited Miron regularly.

Visitation on Friday, November 23 from 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Annunciation Parish, 1020 Laird Boulevard, Town of Mount Royal, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.
