Mme Stella (soeur) Fenile

At the Infirmerie Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours, where she had spent her latter years, Sister Stella died peacefully on June 7, 2016.

She was the daughter of the late Romano Fenile and Dorothy Frost. Besides her CND family, Stella leaves to mourn Gail Milner, her only surviving sister, and her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Bernard, Norah (Trotter), Beatrice, Ruth (Burns), Louis, Gerard and Barbara (Jackson). Stella entered the Congregation de Notre-Dame in 1952, and most of her teaching ministry was spent in schools in the Montreal area; she also served in Toronto and Kingston. Upon her retirement from teaching, Stella was involved in Pastoral Ministry at the Royal Victoria Hospital. She joined the community at Villa Marguerite in Pierrefonds, QC, then later faithfully lived her ministry of Prayer for Married Couples at Mary of Peace Community at the CND Infirmary where she died.
