It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anita Oliveri (nee Crep) on July 9, 2023, at the age of 83.
Born on August 31, 1939 in Cakovec, Croatia, Anita (Ana) lived a long and full life surrounded by family and many close friends.
She married her husband Giuseppe (Joe) Oliveri on the 10th of September 1960 and celebrated 63 years of true love.
Anita was predeceased by her son Peter Oliveri. She is survived by her husband, Giuseppe (Joe) Oliveri, her sons Frank (Kalliopi Athanasoulias) and Tony (Alice Michaud). She also leaves behind four grand children: Neeka (Bilal Butt), Bianca, Michael and Matthew and three step grandchildren Gabrielle, Nicolas and Alexandre Leclerc.
Known for her love of taking care of everyone around her and making sure they were safe and happy, she always made sure to celebrate special moments with delicious food and a get together. She will be greatly missed. She will forever be remembered by her family and her many friends. Everyone will remember a celebration with Anita as she never forgot anyone’s Birthday or milestone events.
Burial will be at the St-Vincent de Paul Cemetery, 3503 Boul. Lévesque E, Laval, QC, H7E 2P8.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Anita Crep’s name to Jewish General Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
