Mr. Angelo Raffaele Di Iorio

It is with deep sadness that the family of Angelo Raffaele Di Iorio announces his death, which occurred
on February 6, 2022.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Maria Teresa Notarmaso,
the flowers of his life, his children Antonietta (André Bruneau) and Modestino,
and the joy of his life, his granddaughter Kateri,
as well as his brother Giovanni (who died the day after him), his sisters-in-law Lina and Rosina, his brothers-in-law Roberto and Michelino, his nephews, nieces, godchildren, cousins, relatives, and friends.

 He married the love of his life in Italy in 1955 and they came together to Montreal in 1956. At first, he worked at Peacock Brothers Foundry and then at Wonder Bread, and during this time he started his own landscaping business. Still active, he had not yet retired. Still until today, he was still in business, and has been for over 60 years. He had an immense love for the outdoors: nature, flowers, trees, and the earth. His artistic side gave him joy in planting trees, shrubs, and flowers. He liked to see how these grew over the summer or over the years. His departure leaves a huge void in our lives. The beautiful moments lived with him remain forever etched in our memories.

The funeral will be celebrated at Madonna Del Divino Amore Church 765, Roland-Forget, Laval, QC H7E 4C1, on Monday, March 7, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. and from there to Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery for the crypt at the Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys mausoleum.

È con profonda tristezza che la famiglia di Angelo Raffaele Di Iorio annuncia la sua scomparsa, avvenuta il 6 febbraio 2022.

Lascia nel dolore l'amore della sua vita, sua moglie Maria Teresa Notarmaso,
i fiori della sua vita, i suoi figli Antonietta (André Bruneau) e Modestino,
e la gioia della sua vita, sua nipote Kateri,
il fratello Giovanni (morto il giorno dopo di lui), le cognate Lina e Rosina, i cognati Roberto e Michelino, i nipoti, patini, cugini, parenti e amici tutti.

Sposò l'amore della sua vita in Italia nel 1955 e poi vennero insieme a Montreal nel 1956.  All'inizio ha lavorato alla Peacock Brothers Foundry e poi alla Wonder Bread, durante quel periodo ha iniziato la sua attività paesaggistica.  Ancora attivo, non era andato ancora in pensione, era sempre in attività, come lo è stato per più di 60 anni.  Aveva un immenso amore per la vita all'aria aperta: la natura, i fiori, gli alberi e la terra.  Il suo lato artistico gli ha dato gioia nel piantare alberi, arbusti e fiori.  Gli piaceva vedere come questi crescevano durante l'estate o nel corso degli anni.  La sua partenza lascia un vuoto immenso nella nostra vita.  I bei momenti vissuti con lui rimangono per sempre scolpiti nei nostri ricordi.
