1929 - 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce that Dr. Arthur Albert Pagé passed away on April 29, 2020, in Montreal.

He is survived by Lizette Corbeil, his loving wife of more than 52 years, his daughter Julie (Daniel Dixon), his son Marc (Manon Lemay), grandchildren Maika and Yanni, sisters: Bernadette (late William Shover) and late Lise (Peter Young Lai), brothers: Louis (late Eleanor Irwin) and late Bernard (Claudette Rey), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as many relatives, friends and colleagues.

As a vascular and thoracic surgeon, Dr. Pagé worked at the Montréal Sacré-Cœur Hospital where he founded the vascular surgery department. During his career of more than 37 years, he became Chief of Vascular Surgery, Chief of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery and Chief of Surgery. He also obtained the rank of full professor in the Department of Surgery at the Université de Montréal.
