It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Carmela Draicchio, wife of the late Michele Camato, on April 10th, 2023 in Montreal. Born on June 8th, 1938 in San Nicandro Garganico, Province of Foggia in Italy, daughter of Antonio Draicchio and Costanza Campagna.
She leaves to mourn her beloved children Tina (Costa Mylonas), Maria and Nazario, her cherished grandchildren Melanie (Socrates), Mila (Vincent), Dahlia (Luis Fernando) and Steven, her great grandchildren Nicholas, Phaedra and Luca, her sisters Maria (Glen) and Amelia (Peter) as well as many other relatives and friends of the family.
Family will receive condolences at the MEMORIA Funeral Home (1120, East Jean-Talon Street, Montreal, Qc) on Wednesday, April 19th from 10am to 12pm. Funeral mass to be held at the Madonna della Consolata Church (1700, East Jean-Talon Street, Montreal, Qc) at 1pm. Entombment to follow at the Repos St-François d’Assise Cemetery (6893, East Sherbrooke Street, Montreal, Qc – Ste-Claire Mausoleum).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
