Passed away on Friday, January 4 in Ottawa at the age of 82. Cherished spouse of Fernand Kateb for 60 years.
Beloved mother of the late Alain (Jocelyne), she will be deeply missed by her sons Paul (Charleen) and Christian (Sylvie) and her grandchildren Kevin, Jennifer, Matthew, Alexia, Vanessa and Christopher, her nephews, nieces and friends.
Affectionately known as Yaya by her closest friends and family, her smile and love of life will be forever etched in our hearts.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday January 13, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the St-Pierre room in the Saint-Martin Mausoleum and a ceremony will take place at 3:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
