Mrs. Ilva Teresa Pulice

Ilva Teresa Pulice, aged 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 23, 2024. Born in Pantanolungo, Calabria Italy, she was one of six children, (Rosa,Lisa,Oreste,Lina and Vincenzo. At 20 years she married to Paolo Reda (her next-door neighbor) and promptly started a family. They had a son Francesco and together all three came to Canada in December of 1958. Here in Montreal, Ilva and Paolo devoted their lives to hard work and love for their family. In 1961 there was a new addition to the family, a daughter was born, and they named her Maria.

Ilva Teresa Pulice as everyone would attest was a beautiful, hardworking, loving and caring mother and grandmother. The happiest moments for Ilva were her hours spent with her children Francesco and Maria and their spouses Brigitte and Franco and most of all, her grand children at family Sunday Dinners. Trinity, Michael, Jenna, Marco, Cristina, Sabrina and Dante will miss the warmth and love she projected while she told her stories of her 91 years (of a pretty good life) as she would say.

She was also blessed with many nieces, nephews and special friends who will also miss her terribly.

Ilva, now is together in a place of happiness with her sisters and her brother and most of all with Paolo who she missed terribly since January of 2015.
