It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James O’Grady on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the age of 64 years old. After a 7 years battle with cancer, he passed away surrounded by his close family. He leaves behind his wife, Teresa Pacelli, and two daughters Ashley (José) and Kayla. He also leaves in mourning his brothers, Michael (Johanne), Kevin (Carmen), and Kenneth, mother-in-law Maria Libera, and brother-in-law Alfonso. Many other family members and close friends will miss his warm heart and radiant energy.
Though he will be deeply missed, he will forever live in our hearts.
Thank you to Dr. A. Langleben and the Oncology staff at St. Mary’s Hospital for 7 years of treatments. Thank you as well to the Palliative Care Unit for their compassion during the last weeks of his life.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation addressed to the Oncology and Palliative Care unit would be very much appreciated.
Place of Funeral:The funeral will take place on Friday, June 9th, 2023 at 11:30 am at Holy Name of Jesus Parish (899 boul. Chomedey, Laval, Quebec, H7V 2X1).
