It is with indescribable sorrow that today we are announcing the passing of Jennifer Hwang. Over the last three and a half years, Jennifer had successfully battled a perforated duodenum during our trip to England in 2019 and two rounds of chemotherapy in 2020 and 2021. After a long struggle, COVID-19 got the best of her as it did for so many others. Jennifer is now in peace, watching over us as she did all these years.
Jennifer was a devoted wife to Marc, her best friend, soulmate and husband of 26 years, a dedicated and caring mother to their children Chloé, Alec, and Éric, an attentive daughter to her parents Kin Kai and Yi Yuan Hwang, and a big sister to her brother Jason, his wife Lindsey, and their daughters Moona and Juniper.
As Jennifer looks upon us, we will remember her kindness, her uncanny empathy towards others, and her bubbly and inquisitive spirit. As a journalist and public relations professional at heart, there was no issue or problem that was too big for her to tackle. She relentlessly yearned to understand her world and the people around her, charting new paths forward to reframe the outcome, often many steps ahead of everybody else. She will be immeasurably missed.
