Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, on Monday, January 10, 2022 at the age of 93. Survived by her daughter Grazyna Sokolowski Jones, grandson Ron Mychka, sisters Paulina Hlywa Nyszczot and Nadia Hlywa, niece Patricia Nyszczot Butcher and nephew Henry Nyszczot. Predeceased by her mother Antonina Rusinko, her father Basil Hlywa and her sisters Anna and Olga Hlywa.
Her young at heart spirit and laugh will be missed by all her family and friends.
Visitation at Alfred Dallaire Memoria, 3254 Bellechasse, Montreal on Wednesday, January 19 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., prayers at 7 :30 p.m. Funeral Service at our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 2550 Gascon avenue, on Thursday, January 20 at 9 :15 a.m., followed by burial at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.
