It is with great sadness that today we bring you news of the passing of Laurent Bourdon.
He passed away in Montreal on July 18th
Citizen greatly involved in Montreal community life and social forums he contributed in the Rosemont Petite-Patrie burrough as president of the Caisse populaire du Coeur-de-l’ïle. His exceptional commitment was recognized by The National Assembly. In La Minerve, his northern paradise, he created a beautiful garden, Oasis in the Laurentians. He will be missed by all.
Widower of Francine Goulet, he leaves his two children, his daughter Nathalie (William) - grandson, Gabriel Angers-Bourdon, his son Nicolas (Michelle) grandsons Gabriel Rozon and Christophe Bourdon. His departure also saddens his two brothers Daniel Bourdon and Normand Bourdon and their loved ones as well as his nieces, nephews and the extended family. Hi will be missed by many friends, colleagues and associates who worked closely with him.
In lieu of flowers, in the spirit of Lauren’t community involvement, memorial donations to Centraide or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
