Mr. Sylvio Londei

After a heroic yearlong battle with cancer, and suffering from its subsequent complications, it is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvio Londei. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Carol Anne Markham Londei, and his parents Angelina & Mario Londei, he leaves in his wake, and will be forever missed by, his daughter Andrea (Patrick Petraroia), wife Sylvia Catino and her children Andria and Lara (Giuseppe), and grandchildren Mimi, Mia, AJ and Siena. He leaves behind his loving sisters Linda and Gina (André), nephew, Hugo (Catherine), niece, Sara (Sébastien). As well as extended family, he leaves to mourn many cousins, aunts and numerous friends that he made throughout his prominent and illustrious career. Sylvio will always be remembered for his larger than life personality, deep love for his family, readiness to help anyone at any time, innate strength, integrity, courage, and ability to build a lasting connection with whomever he met.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, January 30, 2020, from 9am to 12pm, from 2pm to 5pm and from 7pm to 10pm, at Saint Martin Mausoleum (building situated in the back of 2159, Boul. Saint-Martin Est, Laval, H7E 4X6). The funeral mass that will take place on Friday, January 31, 2020, at 9am, at Saint-Sylvain Church (750 Boulevard Saint-Sylvain, Laval, H7E 2X3), followed by the burial in the family plot at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.  Donations to the Cedars Cancer Foundation are appreciated.
