It is with great sadness that the family of Lucia Marras Giulivi announces her passing, at age 97, with her family members by her side on Wednesday, February 12th, 2020.
Lucia will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Donatella and son-in-law Vincenzo Bargelletti as well has her beloved grandchildren, John (Manon) and Olivia (David).
Lucia will also be deeply missed by her siblings, Silvana (Mondo) Mossa, and Silverio (Mirella) Marras, sister-in-law Angelina Giulivi, and numerous nieces and nephews including Elizabeth (Gregory), Valentina, Gabriele, Antonio, Veneranda (Giorgio).
Lucia was predeceased by her loving husband, Giovanni Giulivi.
The family will receive condolences at Alfred Dallaire Memoria funeral home on Sunday, February 23rd, from 2-5pm and from 7-10pm (n.b.: free valet parking available for all). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Patrick's Basilica in MOntreal. Interment will be done in Terni, Italy.
In lieu of flowers, those who so wish may make donations to the Canadian Heart & Stroke foundation (heartandstroke.ca), or Lucia’s favorite orphanage (Istituto Antoniano Padri Rogazionisti Napoli in Italy; website: rogazionistinapoli.it/donate).
