Surrounded by the love of her family, Margaret Milette (nee Kralik) of St-Leonard went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 10, 2018 in her 88th year.

Margaret was the beloved wife of Allen Milette for almost 67 years.  She was the cherished and devoted mother of Michael (Evelyn Piepenburg), Robert (Graciela Escalante) and David (Doris Dalke).  Loving and fun-loving grandmother of Marina (Ted Morin), Megan, Benjamin, Rachel, Jonah, Gabriel, Isabel and Christopher.  She is also survived by her sisters Suzanna Nagy and Kay Slepokura, sister-in-law Kay Francuz, many nieces and nephews, friends, and her church family at Ascension Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Suzanna Vrbyar and her stepmother Maria Pitkaminiecka, by her sisters Mary and Ann, her brother John Francuz, brothers-in-law Bill Nagy, Adam Slepokura, Andy Kralik and her dearest friend Gilberte Brisson.

Margaret believed in contributing wholeheartedly to the many communities to which she belonged.  She was known for always being ready to offer friendship and outstanding hospitality to all.  She loved throwing parties for family and friends.  For over 35 years she and Allen ran Avenue Radio TV Service.  She was a leading member of Ascension Ladies’ Aid for most of her adult life. Margaret always believed in having an open-ended family, continuously adding new members throughout her life.  Mom lived for her faith, her immediate and large extended family and her many friends while following her dreams in the city that she loved.

The funeral service for Mrs. Milette will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church, 865 Jarry ouest, on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. with committal to follow immediately at Mount Royal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ascension Lutheran Church.
