Mrs. Maria Mongiovi

Maria Mongiovi Colletti passed away on June 19 of her 87 th year in the loving presence of her children.
Predeceased by her husband Melchiorre Colletti (1996), mother of Gaspare (Rosi) Marianna (Edward) and Joe (Terry), loved by her grandchildren Chris (Marie), Kevin (Moni), Vanessa (Anthony), Mark and Julia (Luigi), and her great grandchildren Luca and Massimo.
Mamma was extremely proud of her family and a pillar of strength for all of us  in times of need.
She was kind and generous with her time, volunteering at a seniors home, the Consolata church, and singing in its beloved choir.
Her energy and determination knew no bounds.
With her golden hands Mamma created beautiful clothes and baked the best breads and eggplant parmigiana.
Her free spirit lives on in our memory.

Maria Mongiovi Colletti è deceduta il 19 Giugno all’età di 87 anni circondata dall’amore dei suoi figli. Preceduta da suo marito Melchiorre Colletti (1996), madre di Gaspare (Rosi), Marianna (Edward) e Joe (Terry). Amata dai suoi nipoti Chris (Marie), Kevin (Moni), Vanessa (Anthony), Mark, Julia (Luigi) e dai i suoi pro nipotini Luca e Massimo.

Mamma era una persona estramamente orgogliosa della sua famiglia. È stata la colonna portante per tutti noi nel momento del bisogno e non solo.
Era premurosa e generosa con il suo tempo: con la Chiesa Consolata, con il tanto amato coro della stessa chiesa e con le sue attività di volontariato presso le persone anziane. La sua energía e determinazione non conoscevano confini. Con le sue mani d’oro, Mamma creò bellissimi vestiti, cucinato il miglior pane e la miglior parmigiana. Il suo spirito libero vive nella nostra memoria.
