C'est avec le cœur lourd que nous vous annonçons le décès de Mariette à l'hôpital Sacré Cœur.
Predeceased by her husband Arthur and after having lived 104 years on this earth, she leaves to mourn her daughter Linda (Lawrence), her beloved granddaughters Christina (Francis), Jasmine, Tanya (David) and her adored great grandson Logan as well as many nieces and nephews.
Elle s'est envolée à la rencontre de ses sœurs Stella, Rosa, Annina, Josée et Thérèse, les six maintenant ensemble à se réjouir parmi les anges.
Mariette cared deeply for her family, enjoying most of all a meal surrounded by her loved ones, most especially a dish of calamari and the inevitable frosted Pina Colada on a terrace. She was astute and lucid till the end and could beat us all at Rummy, all the while pretending not to cheat.
We will miss the laughter and the joy of being together.
