We regret to inform you that Marie-Guerda Mirvil, born December 17, 1946 in Port-au-Prince, passed away on Friday October 30 at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal.
She is survived by her husband of over 47 years, Wesner Joseph Astre, her two sons Christian and Stéphane (Patricia), her five grandchildren Léanne, Jérémie, Elisabeth, Emmanuel and Gabrielle as well as her sisters and brothers Frantz, Marie Micheline, Mireille (Max), Marie Josée (Ricardo), Greta (Thevanor), François and Marie Nicole.
She is also survived by her many nephews, nieces as well as relatives and friends.
She joins her mother Saintulia Sanon (Yaya), her father Franck Mirvil (Papam) and her sister Marie Lourdes Mirvil Baptiste.
We will remember her contagious smile, her generosity and her desire to help others.
We ask you not to send flowers or wreaths in order to respect the wishes of the deceased. Rather, we invite you, at your discretion, to make a donation to the Jewish General Hospital of Montreal Foundation in honor of her dedication as a nurse and the hospital staff who took care of her until last moment.
