It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mykola Bedik on January 12th 2021, at the age of 88. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Suzanne(Desautels), his son Gregory (Andrea), granddaughters Alexa and Natalia.
Born in Sofiyivka, he left Ukraine as a young boy, travelled and lived in Germany and Belgium with his family, and finally left for Canada in 1952. He enjoyed gatherings at home, poker, billiards, going on fishing trips and spending time with his extended family and grandchildren in Tremblant.
Service will take place at St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 2246 Boulevard Rosemont, Montréal on January 28th, at 11:30 immediately followed by interment at Notre-Dame des Neiges cemetery.
