It is with sadness that we announce the passing of an extraordinary man, Pierre Lacroix "Big Pete", after a long fight against cancer. He was the husband of the late Nicole Lacroix. He is survived by his partner Arlette Castonguay Cyr, his children Pierre (Michèle), Julie (late Philip), Michou (Bertrand) and the late Daniel (Joann). He was the beloved grandfather of his thirteen grandchildren Philipe, Liza, Erik, Maxime (Simon), Mark, Alexandre, Laurence, Sophie, Michou, Gabriella, Daniella, Cassandra, and Kimberly. He also leaves to mourn his brother Bruno (Christiane), his step-daughter Myriam (Stéphane) and their children Michel and Raphaël, as well as several other family members and friends.
The family will receive condolences at the Alfred Dallaire MEMORIA Funeral Complex, 1111 Laurier O., Outremont, on Tuesday, January 8th, 2019 at 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and on Wednesday, January 9th at 9:30 am. Valet service will be offered at the parlour
The funeral will be celebrated at St-Viateur Church, 1175 Rue Laurier ouest, Outremont, on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
