It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother on February 4, 2019 at the age of 92.
She will be dearly missed by her surviving children, Joann (Gilles Quesnel), Jimmy Kaczkowski (Elaine Horski). She was the very much loved Nana of grandchildren- Stephanie (David Owen), and Lauren.
Many nephews and nieces, extended family, and special members of her USA family.
Preceded in death by her parents Anna Maslanka & John Mikulski, her husband of 58 years Peter Kaczkowski, sister Michelena (Walter Grochowski).
Her generosity caring nature, sense of humour, and love for her family, will be remembered by all who had the good fortune of knowing her.
The family would like to thank all the medical staff on the T7 floor at Ste Anne’s Hospital, In St Anne de Bellevue, for their excellent care and compassion.
In memory of Stella, family will receive condolences at Alfred Dallaire Memoria, 3254 rue de Bellechasse, Montreal, H1X 1H8 on Thursday February 7th from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm, Rosary at 7:30 pm. Funeral mass on Friday February 8 at 9:30 am, at Our Lady of Czestochowa, 2550 Gascon ave, Montreal H2K 2Y2, followed by interment at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Ste. Anne’s Hospital Foundation, or mass intentions would be appreciated.
