Mme Pauline (Sister) Marquette

At Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Infirmary, where she had spent her latter years, Sister Pauline died peacefully on February 18, 2017. Born in Montreal, she was the daughter of the late Louis Stanislaus Marquette and Albertine Chicoine. Pauline will be sadly missed by her dear sister Denise (Thomas Brooke), her many loving nieces and nephews, and her CND family. She was predeceased by her sisters Thérèse (Deegan), Jacqueline (Atkinson) and Madeleine. Pauline entered the Congregation de Notre-Dame in 1944, and after profession, began her teaching career in various schools in the New England states, and then in Quebec and Ontario. Upon her retirement from teaching, Pauline was involved in community ministry in both the Kingston and Montreal areas. Her final years were spent at the CND Infirmary, where she faithfully lived her ministry of prayer.
