Mme Alphonsina Mazerolle

Alphonsina Mazerolle, 84, slipped away peacefully early morning Monday August 15, 2016 at Pavillion Rosemont.

Born June 19, 1932, she is preceded in death by her parents Olivier Mazerolle and Alice Poirier; loving husband of 36 years Anton Valenta; daughter Deborah St. Cyr (née Valenta) and late brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her sisters Annette (Jules), Claudia (Elvy), Irma (Jean Baptiste), Dora; brothers Ernest (Lisette), John (Pierrette); daughter Lynn (Graham); grandchildren Sabrina (Michael), Natalie (Terence), Stefanie (Jason), Tanya (Giancarlo), Bradley (Amanda); newborn great- granddaughter Abigail; and all her cousins, nephews, nieces and dearest friends.

Family and friends are invited for visitation on Wednesday August 17, 2016 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Alfred D'Allaire Funeral Home, 12415 Rue Sherbrooke E, Pointe-aux-Trembles, QC. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday August 18, 2016 at 10 a.m. with Father Joseph Sullivan at Sainte-Louise-de-Marillac Church, 7901 Rue Sainte Claire (corner Honoré Beaugrand) Montreal, QC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or through a Mass offering.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Palliative Care Unit at Pavillon Rosemont for their support in her final days.
