Mme Elizabeth Makar Bodnar

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of ELIZABETH MAKAR (BODNAR), aged 90, who passed away peacefully in the late evening of February 27, 2024. Her birthplace was Montreal, July 21, 1933.

She leaves behind her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her children: Michael BODNAR (Adriana Toti), Linda BODNAR (David Bagatavicius), Betty Ann BODNAR, (Michel Depin), Barbara BODNAR (Kevin); her grandchildren: Christina Bagatavicius (Dale Watson), Adam Bagatavicius (Marla Schreiber), and her great grandchildren, Oscar and Teddy.

Throughout her life she had many passions, among others, she loved music and dancing with her husband Alex, meeting people and entertaining, and many cats and dogs. She was a devoted Catholic who prayed often to Mother Mary and made numerous pilgrimages to St. Anne-de-Beaupré.

She was a mother whose love for her family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was beyond measure. She checked on all her children every night to say goodnight. Thank you mom for all the love you gave us, it will be missed and you will always be in our hearts.
