It is with great sadness that the Alvaro family announces the passing of its patriarch Giuseppe Alvaro on Tuesday April 11, 2023, at the age of 94.
He will be greatly missed by his devoted wife of 64 years, Raffaelina Rinaldi, his cherished sons and daughters-in-law Antonio (Antonietta) and Cetteo (Jacqueline), his loving grandchildren Lina (late Gasparino), Anna (Joey), Giuseppe (Amélie) and Vanessa (Pericles) and his 9 beloved great grandchildren, Adriano, Luca, Gennaro, Aviana, Cataleya, Kiara, Cetteo, Maria and Lambros.
He also leaves behind his sister Franca and his sisters-in-law Franca, Effie, Maria, Carolina, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
He now joins his sister Annunziata and his brothers Nicodemo and Espedito as well as his brothers-in-law Nicodemo, Ferruccio, and Ettore.
Visitation will be held at Les Espaces Memoria (Mausoleum at the back), 2159 Boul. St. Martin Est Laval H7E 4X6, on Friday, April 14 from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm.
The funeral service will take place at Our Lady of Pompei Church, 2875 Sauvé E, on Saturday April 15 at 10am, followed by a burial at Les Espaces Memoria (Mausoleum at the back), 2159 Boul. St. Martin Est Laval H7E 4X6.

Con grande tristezza la famiglia Alvaro annuncia la scomparsa del suo patriarca Giuseppe Alvaro, avvenuta martedì 11 aprile 2023 all'età di 94 anni.
Mancherà molto alla sua devota moglie di 64 anni, Raffaelina Rinaldi, ai suoi cari figli e nuore Antonio (Antonietta) e Cetteo (Jacqueline), ai suoi amorevoli nipoti Lina (defunto Gasparino), Anna (Joey), Giuseppe (Amélie) e Vanessa (Pericles) e ai suoi 9 amati pronipoti, Adriano, Luca, Gennaro, Aviana, Cataleya, Kiara, Cetteo, Maria e Lambros.
Lascia anche la sorella Franca e le cognate Maria, Effie, Franca, Carolina, e anche numerosi nipoti, parenti e amici. Ora si unisce alla sorella Annunziata, ai fratelli Nicodemo ed Espedito e ai cognati Nicodemo, Ferruccio ed Ettore.
Le visite si terranno presso Les Espaces Memoria (Mausoleo sul retro), 2159 Boul. St. Martin Est Laval H7E 4X6, venerdì 14 aprile dalle 14.00 alle 17.00 e dalle 19.00 alle 21.00.
Il servizio funebre avrà luogo a la Chiesa Pompei, 2875 Sauvé E, sabato 15 aprile alle 10, seguito dalla sepoltura a Les Espaces Memoria (Mausoleo sul retro), 2159 Boul. St. Martin Est Laval H7E 4X6.
Che Giuseppe riposi in pace e che la sua memoria viva per sempre.
