Mme Maria Giuseppa Pendino Mezzagno

It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Maria Giuseppa Pendino Mezzagno. Peacefully on Friday, January 28^th, 2022, wife of the late Ignazio Mezzagno and mother of late daughter Maria Domenica. She leaves to mourn her daughters Lina (Maurizio) and Maria (Frank).

 She will remain in the sweet memory of her grandchildren, Fabio, Massimo (Melissa), Elissa (Wess). It is with love and tenderness that her sisters in-law, brother in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends here and in Italy will remember her. She always loved receiving her family and welcomed everyone with open arms.

 Due to current pandemic restrictions, family will hold a private viewing at the Alfred Dallaire MEMORIA, 1120 Jean-Talon Est, Montréal on Monday, February 7^th from 19h00 to 21h30 and on Tuesday morning as of 9h30.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 8th, at 11h30 at the Notre-Dame-de-la Défense Church, 6800 Henri-Julien, Montréal. (With vaccination passport: 50% of capacity (limit of 250 people)).

Her casket will be laid to rest, next to her husband, at the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery (Esther-Blondin Mausoleum), following the mass.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the Lakeshore hospital, their doctors, nurses and caregivers for the outstanding care over the last few years and special care during the last days of her life.

For those wishing to donate in lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Maria Giuseppa Pendino Mezzagno to the Lakeshore Hospital foundation would be greatly appreciated.
