M. Nicola Corbo

On Tuesday, January 5th, 2021, Nicola Corbo, passed awaypeacefully at the age of 89 years. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 61 years Maria (Piscopo) Corbo; his children Marilu (Vincent), Teresa, Giacomo (Franca) and Antonio, along with his grandchildren Gino, Francesca, Nicolas and Claudia.

Born and raised in Pratolla Serra, Avellino, Italy, Nicola lived in many parts of the world before he immigrated to Canada in 1960. He was an accomplished cabinet maker who had a passion for creating pieces of furniture his family and friends will cherish forever. 

Nicola will forever be remembered as a strong man who conquered the many battles life presented him with. We give thanks for the many years we had the opportunity to share together. He will forever be remembered in all of our hearts. 

A special thank you to the nurses, doctors and staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital ICU and Nephrology Department for their devotion and care over the past few years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation. 

Visitations will be held at Alfred Dallaire Memoria, 1120 Jean-Talon East, Montreal on Sunday, January 10th, 2021 from 2pm to 5pm and on Monday morning, January 11th as of 9:30 a.m. followed by the funeral at 11am at the Notre-Dame-de-la-Défense church, 6800 Henri-Julien (corner Dante), Montréal.
