M. Roman Romancyshyn

On November 28th, 2018, Roman Romancyshyn, passed away peacefully at Maisonneuve Rosemont Hospital. Beloved husband of late wife Maria Dowhan, cherished father to late son Orest (Hania Jakubiw) and Zenon (Ola Dupelycz), and treasured grandfather to Stephanie (Steve), Natalka (Jeff), Melissa, and Taras, and great grandfather to Luka, Jacob, Benson and Elijah. Brother to Zenonwij and other relatives in Ukraine.

Viewing will be held at Alfred Dallaire Memoria, 3254 rue Bellechasse, on Monday, December 3 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Panachyda at 7:30 p.m and on Tuesday, December 4 at 9 a.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 4, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 6175-10th Avenue, Rosemont, at 9:30 a.m. followed by burial at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. Donations can be made to the parish.

Roman will always be remembered for his love of Ukrainian music as he was part of the church choir and a member of various Ukrainian choirs throughout his life.
