In Montréal, on November 27, 2016, aged 57, Mireille Gourdeau passed away. Daughter of Monique Samson and of the late Éric Gourdeau, sister of Christiane, François, Frédéric and Elisabeth, and predeceased by her sisters Danielle and Sylvie Gourdeau. She is survived by her husband James Rae, her mother, her brothers and sisters and their spouses, her nephews and nieces, cousins, uncles and aunts, her husband’s family and many friends. Mireille was fondly loved and will be missed.
The family expresses their thanks for the care and compassion offered by her doctors and the staff and volunteers at the Notre-Dame Hospital palliative care unit.
Donations are suggested for Jeunes Musiciens du Monde, a charity Mireille held dear.
