Mrs. Vittoria Tucci

Vittoria Tucci, aged 67, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 5^th, after a battle with breast cancer. Born to Michael and Theresa Tucci, Vittoria was the eldest of 5 children and, at age 14, she assumed the role of caregiver for her younger siblings after her mother passed away. At 19, she left home and began to make a life for herself and met the father of her two sons, Sami and Ali, who she raised as a single mother and who survive her as living legacies of her love and devotion. She was blessed with many nieces, nephews and friends, in Canada and aboard; all of whom were dear to her.

Vittoria was tender, spirited, and she opened her home and heart to all in a generosity that often exceeded her means. She loved music, laughing, her brothers and sisters, and her sons, whom she spoiled with homemade meals prepared with love and pride.
