Mr. Joaquim Ferreira, husband of Prazeres Barata, born in Orondo, Covilhã, Portugal, died in Montreal on June 25, 2023, at the age of 90. He is survived by his wife, his son Roger (Nelia), his daughter Celia (Dominic), his grandchildren Annalisa, Christina, Michael, Daniel, Melyssa and Brandon, his great-grandchildren Adrien, Julien and Gabriela, his brothers José (Virginia) and Antonio (Filomena), his sisters-in-law Maria José (Joaquim), Alice and Angelina, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be hold at Les Espaces Memoria 2159, St-Martin E, Laval,QC (514-277-7778) The wake will take place Sunday July 2, 2023 from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm, Monday from 9am. The funeral will take place Monday July 3, 2023 at 11am at Ste-Angèle Church 5275, boul. Lavoisier, Saint-Léonard, Qc H1R 1J5 and will be buried in the cemetery Mausolée St-Martin de Laval.
