Mrs. Aline Voyer Gourdeau
February 17, 1929 - December 4, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aline Voyer Gourdeau, who peacefully left this world on December 4, 2023.
Aline was born on February 17, 1929, to the late Alphonsine Levesque and Romuald Voyer in Malartic, Quebec.
Aline was predeceased by her siblings Marthe, Florence, Ghislaine, Lauraine, Normand. She is survived by her sister Rachel.
In 1951, she married the late Guy Gourdeau, with whom she built a wonderful family.
Aline will be remembered by her loving children: Edith, Marc (France Roy), Lise (Andre Guevremont), and Jean-Guy (Christina Roberts). Her memory will forever be cherished by her six grandchildren: Anne Gourdeau-Legault, Jayme Gourdeau, Tania Guevremont (Olivier Bonneau), Justin Guevremont, Stephanie Gourdeau (Charles-Alexandre Lacroix), and Catherine Gourdeau (Victor Leblanc). Aline was also blessed with six great-grandchildren: Nicolas Aubin, Mercedes Aubin, Flavie Aubin, Maurice Bonneau, Henri Bonneau, and Juliette Lacroix. Aline took immense joy in their lives and celebrated each milestone with love and pride. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.
Aline had an extraordinary passion for the arts and was an embodiment of timeless style and elegance. She left an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to witness her grace.
Her love for travel took her to far-flung corners of the world, where she embraced diverse cultures and cultivated a deep appreciation for the beauty that exists beyond our borders.
In addition to her cultural pursuits, Aline found joy in the company of friends and family. Her gatherings were synonymous with laughter, camaraderie, and a shared love for life's simple pleasures. Aline's warmth and charisma made every occasion memorable.
An avid golfer and skier, whether gliding down snow-covered slopes or enjoying a leisurely round of golf, Aline embraced life's adventures with enthusiasm and a zest for life.
A private memorial service for the immediate family will be held to celebrate Aline's life.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the outpouring of support and condolences during this challenging time.
