If we suffer with him on earth, we will surely reign with him in heaven…
2 Timothy 2:12

With profound sorrow, we convey the untimely departure of our cherished Debora Duclair, who departed this world at the tender age of 49 on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 10:47 p.m., within Cité de la Santé hospital. In her final moments, she was embraced by the love of her family and close friends.

Affectionately known as "Debbie" to all who held her dear, she was the daughter of the late Pastor Clément Duclair and Mrs. Rose-Mériante Duclair. Debbie's zest for life was evident, seizing each day with unwavering courage and fortitude, refusing to allow pain or illness to define her essence. Amidst her rigorous chemotherapy regimens and countless hospital visits, she unfailingly found moments to partake in the lives and pursuits of her loved ones. Her beautiful smile and indomitable spirit will forever be etched in our memories.

Left to mourn her passing are her mother, Rose-Mériante, her only son Kevin and his fiancée Meggie, along with her elder sister Marie-Rose and husband Accele, and brothers Wendell and Farrell, accompanied by their wives Eliane and Olivia. Her goddaughter Pamela, and many nephews and nieces, including Romiche, Tulie and her husband Johnny-Welson, Anthony, Markus, Christopher, Olivia, Alexie, Selah, Dwayne-Welson, Mya Joyce, and her beloved canine companion, Coco.

Debbie also held dear a vast network of extended family and friends, all deeply affected by her departure. Among them are the father of her son, Fauster Verdier, her cousin Armante and her husband Jacques Saint-Fleurant, as well as their kids Giovani, her goddaughter Shanna and her husband Kevin Denis and Jacques-Emmanuel (Jaco), her cousin Wilmarc Charles and family, sisters-in-law Dominique Raphaël and Lisa Dellaforesta.

Our heartfelt condolences extend to the families touched by this loss, including the Duclair, Lebrun, Titus, Salmadore-Louis, Francois, Charles, Lessage, Verdier, Raphaël, Leclerc, Dellaforesta, McGill, Saint-Fleurant, Fortuné, Denis, Boisette, Jeudy, Vaval, Ambroise, Arnault, and Jaboin families, as well as the congregations of Le Portail Church and Laval Evangelical Centre, and her broader evangelical family across North America, who fervently prayed for her. We also acknowledge the unwavering support of her employer and colleagues at FedEx, where she dedicated nearly 27 years of service.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, May 24, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the Les Espaces Memoria funeral complex in Laval, located at 2159 Boulevard Saint-Martin Est, Laval, QC H7E 4X6.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 25, at 11:00 a.m. at the Laval Evangelical Center, located at 1645 Boulevard Des Laurentides, Laval, Quebec H7M 2P2.

Interment will follow at the Le Repos Saint-François d’Assise Cemetery, located at 6893 Rue Sherbrooke Est, Montreal, Quebec H1N 1C7, Canada.

During this challenging period, we humbly request your prayers and support for the grieving family.

"Rest peacefully, our beloved Debbie! Your unwavering faith, strength, and optimism shall forever inspire us."
