Passed away peacefully on May 10, 2017 at the age of 98. Predeceased by her husband William Melnyk and second husband Volodymyr Marko, she leaves to mourn her
daughters, Larissa (late Orest Koropecki) and Kristina (Rémi Lapointe), her beloved granddaughters, Andrea and Kristina, her older sister Ola, stepbrother Roman, and several nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered for her active, life-long participation within the Ukrainian communities in Montreal, Toronto and Winnipeg, as well as in national and international women’s organizations.
