It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Henryk Wojcik, on December 2nd, 2018 at the age of 71 at the Royal Victoria Hospital. He will be greatly missed by his loving children Regina (Ed) and Edward (Jennifer) and his adoring grandchildren Jacek, Dylan and Ashley. He also leaves behind his family, which includes his brother Jan (Mary) and sister Franciszka, many nieces and nephews and their families, especially his niece Veronika and his devoted girlfriend Ania. He was preceded by his parents Franciszek and Zofia.
Henryk was a highly respected pillar of the Polish community and his absence will be greatly felt. He leaves behind a legacy which will be revered for years to come.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the MUHC and the Neuro for their dedication and care over the past 2 years, along with, Dr. Wilson H Miller (JGH) and an extra special thank you to Dr. Sonia del Rincón (JGH). The family sincerely appreciates all the prayers and support offered by Henryk’s many family friends and relatives throughout his courageous battle.
The visitation will be held at Alfred Dallaire Memoria Funeral Home on Thursday December 6th from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will take place at the Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 2550 av. Gascon, Montreal, on Friday December 7th at 10 a.m.
