Mr. John William Jefford

It is with great sadness and heartbreak that we say goodbye to John W. Jefford.

Devoted husband, father, father-in-law, grand-dad, twin brother, brother-in-law, and friend to so many, John’s passion for life, positive outlook, caring nature, contagious laugh, and smile will be missed beyond words. Skilled locksmith, his love and talent for his craft have helped countless; leaving his mark throughout Montreal and beyond.

John laisse dans le deuil son épouse Monique, ses enfants Patrick (Stéphanie) & Jessica (Anthony), ses petits-enfants Samuel, Zaccary, Julie-Rose et Thomas, son frère Peter (Chantal), ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs, plusieurs neveux et nièces et innombrables collègues et amis qui ont été touchés par sa joie de vivre inlassable, sa gentillesse, sa générosité et son sens d’humour hors-pair.

The last year has been marked by his courageous and unwavering strength in fighting what was his ultimate battle. Yet, he kept his good nature and his humour, and even found ways to continue creating meaningful memories along the way.

John passed away peacefully, on his own terms, at home surrounded by love.

Nous souhaitons remercier La Société de soins palliatifs à domicile du Grand Montréal pour leur inestimable soutien sans quoi prendre soin de lui à la maison n’aurait été possible. L’accompagnement bienveillant que vous nous avez offert restera bien ancré dans notre mémoire à jamais.

A commemorative service will be held on October 21^st from 10am to 3pm at Alfred-Dallaire Memoria (2159 Boul Saint-Martin Est, Laval, QC H7E 4X6).
