In Montreal, on Tuesday, February 7th, at the age of 92, we lost our beloved Leonilda. Wife of the late Antonio Maiolo, she was originally from Nardodipace in Italy.
She leaves to mourn her children Pompea (Gabriele), Salvatore (Maria) and Flaminia (Cosimo), her grandchildren Laura (Luigi), Diana (Giuseppe), Adriana (Adolfo), Claudia (Michael), Giuseppe and Paola (Matthew), her great-grandchildren Daniel, Emilio, Giuliana, Giada, Santiago, Lorenzo, Rebecca, Jayden, Milena, Tessa, Eva and Adrian as well as many other family members and friends.
Leonilda will always be in our hearts and remembered by everyone as a generous, loving, selfless woman. She expressed her love in many ways but especially in gathering her family and preparing and sharing many delicious meals. She was devoted greatly to her family and her faith and passed those values on to her loved ones. Riposa in pace splendida Mamma.
Family will receive condolences at the St-Peter Hall of the St-Martin Mausoleum (2159, Blvd. St-Martin East, Laval, Qc – Building located behind the Funeral Complex) on Friday, February 10th from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm; starting back the following morning at 11am.
Funeral to be held at the Our Lady of Pompei Church (2875, Sauvé Street, Montréal, Qc) on Saturday, February 11th at 1pm.
Entombment to follow at the St-Martin Mausoleum.
