Mrs. Maria Piscopo

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Piscopo (Corbo) on March 27th, 2024, at the age of 87. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Nicola Corbo. She leaves behind her children; Marilu (Vince), Teresa, Giacomo (Franca), and Antonio, as well as her grandchildren; Gino (Cassandra), Francesca (Andrew), Nicolas (Adelina), Claudia (Vincent) and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by many other family members and friends.

Maria will forever be remembered as a sweet, joyful, and resilient woman. Her deep love and unwavering passion for cooking never failed to unite both family and friends. Her home was always welcoming to those around her. We give thanks for the many years we had the opportunity to share together. She will forever be remembered by all those who loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Montreal.

Visitations will be held at Les Espaces Memoria, 1120 Jean-Talon East, on Monday, April 8th, 2024, from 2-5pm and 7-9pm and on Tuesday morning as of 9am. The funeral will take place on Tuesday April 9th, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of La Difesa (6800 ave Henri Julien, Montreal, Quebec H2S 2V4) followed by burial at Notre Dame des Neiges cemetery (4601 Côte-des-Neiges Rd, Montreal, Quebec H3V 1E7)
