With sadness in our hearts, we share the heartfelt loss of our beloved mama, Maria Dos Anjos Tavares Senra Pereira born, on Nov 6, 1933. She passed away peacefully at age 90 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Her heart had never left her beloved Rabo de Peixe, Sao Miguel, Portugal.
A devoted mother of three children, Nick (Vicki), Joe (Susan), and Donna (Danny), 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and cherished wife to Nicolau Octavio Pereira. Throughout her life she was dedicated to her family and finding fulfillment in nurturing & caring for those she held dear. We are overwhelmed by a flood of memories and emotions. Her plentiful garden nourished our bodies and souls. Her flowers bloomed with beauty and her talents as a seamstress, brought joy and comfort to countless creations. But beyond her skills with a needle and thread, our mom’s greatest gift was her ability to love unconditionally. A life well lived, now at peace. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of your choice.

Monday March 18, 2024, from 1pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 9pm, Tuesday starting 8am to 9am. The funeral service will be held on March 19, 2024, at 9h30am at Santa Cruz Church 60, Rachel O. Montréal and thence to Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery for the burial.
