With great sadness, we announce the passing of Nicholas Palfalvi, who left us on August 8th, 2020. Predeceased by his devoted wife, Vasiliki Kastoumi Palfalvi.

Nicholas leaves to mourn his beloved children, Nicholas, Dimitra, Peter, George, adored grandchildren Alessandro, Alisha, Ryan, Brandon, Cory and Summer, his sister Magdi, along with nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.

Our Father had a very Big Presence in all of our lives. He was an incredible provider, taught us what the word respect and very hard work meant and the appreciation for what was served on the dinner table. He always helped our neighbors and friends -  he was so good at that.  He taught us to be generous and kind. He had talents that for us as his children were in awe all of the time to see what he built and created.  He was brilliant.  He emphasized on honesty and said “That’s the only way to climb the ladder to any success in life and don’t ever be arrogant, be humble.”  He adored his wife and said at here funeral not long ago “ I always loved you so much but never knew how deeply  until you left me.”  He called us and cried every day for the loss of our loving mom. He touched our hearts but broke it at the same time.

He took care of our mother, especially the last 5 years in a way that was completely selfless.  He was at her side at the facility 7 days a week for 10 hours a day.  He fed her, bathed her, talked to her in the kindest tone and loved her while he was fighting a powerful cancer.  All staff at the facility had never witnessed such love and dedication.

We are all left with a huge emptiness in our hearts for the loss of our 2 parents in such a short time.  They will now be reunited again where they can take care of each other and love one another even more.

We will forever miss them so deeply until we meet again.

We Love you so very much Mommy and Daddy we are so proud and honored to say you are our beloved parents. XXXX

The family will receive condolences at Alfred Dallaire MEMORIA Funeral Home (2159, St-Martin Blvd. East, Laval, Qc) on Thursday, September 10th from 1 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 9 pm. A prayer ceremony will be held in the parlor at 8:30 pm.

Burial to follow the next morning 11:00 am, Friday September 11th at the Notre-Dame-de-l'Espérance
