Peter Van Spall, at the age of 85, passed away in Montreal on March 24th 2019. Born in Marylebone (London, England), son of Edith Havercroft and Maurice Van Spall, and widower of Jadwiga Zubowicz (d. 2000). Loving father of Michael, and father-in-law of Malgorzata, he also leaves in mourning his grandsons Konrad and Alexander, as well as his sister Jennifer, his three nephews and one niece, as well as other members of his family and family-in-law, and many friends.
He lived an amazing life of travel, the pursuit of knowledge, and engagement in the community. Humble, always cheerful, virtuous, and dedicated to his family and friends, he will always endure in our memory.
The family will receive condolences at the Alfred Dallarie Memoria funeral home, 1120, rue Jean-Talon Est on Sunday March 31st starting at 1 o’clock PM. A ceremony will follow at 3 PM. The burial will take place at Cimetière Notre-Dame-des-Neiges on Monday April 1st at 3 PM followed by a private wake at the home of Michael.
