Pietro Sadori

Pietro Sadori, aged 91, passed away peacefully on Monday August 07, 2023.

Born in Villa del Monte in Le Marche (Italy), Pietro was one of 4 children, (Renata, Bruna and Marcello). Being the eldest son, at the age of 18, he left his home and came to Canada to provide for his family.

Here, he began to make a life for himself, met his beautiful wife and began to build his legacy.  As such, he is survived by his wife Dolores Tontini, his eldest son Marco (Elaine Tweel) and their children; Anita, Laura (Peter Dentico, fiancé) and Rocki, along with his younger son Bruno (Silvana Travaglini) and their children; Alessandro, Alisha and Mia.Missing him also are his sister-in-law Julie Tontini, along with his sister and brother in Italy; Renata and Marcello.  Awaiting him in a place of happiness and no pain are his parents and his sister Bruna.

He was blessed with many nieces, nephews and special friends, both in Canada and Italy; all of whom were very dear to him.

Pietro was filled with happiness and pride while tending to his homemade wine and his garden.  He also enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing cards.  However, he would drop everything in a heartbeat for his precious grandchildren.   

Our heartfelt thanks to his most incredible caregivers for their love, patience and sense of humour; Marilou, Ruselle and Debbie.  They will continue to care for Dolores with the same gentle hands.

While flowers are beautiful, donations change lives.  We ask that you consider donating to the Canadian Arthritis Society so that others don’t live with the same pain that he did.
